Paul oversees the company’s legal affairs as the General Counsel. A focus on real estate in a variety of settings has provided him with a diverse and unique approach to each asset, each transaction, and each stakeholder. In private practice, he developed a transactional practice with forays into distressed assets and litigation; as Legislative Director of the Boston City Council, he developed public policy including housing and zoning initiatives; and as in-house counsel to real estate companies, he has guided the legal components of expanding portfolios.
His volunteer efforts have included the Boston Bar Association’s VITA Program, ReBuilding Together-Boston, and mentoring students and recent graduates. He is currently a member of the Boston Bar Association and serves on a local Zoning Board of Appeals. Paul received a BA from Providence College, a JD from Boston University, and an MBA from Boston University.
