In 1972, after 15 years of developing some of the premier retail centers in New England, Murray Finard and his son, Bill, founded Finard & Company. When his father retired, Bill took on partners, expanded services, and widened geographic focus which enabled Finard & Company to become a leader in developing and servicing commercial real estate. In 2007, Bill established Finard Properties LLC with his son, Todd Finard, and son-in-law, Rob Hughes. The goal of Finard Properties is to create value for its own properties and the properties of its clients with imagination and innovation in management, capitalization, development, and redevelopment.
Twenty six members of the Finard Properties team participated in a day-long cleanup at Ross Field in Hyde Park, Massachusetts in August 2010. The playground area was weeded and new mulch was installed, trees around the field were pruned of sucker growth, and baseball fields and equipment were weeded and cleaned.

The partners comprising Finard Properties have extended their family ties by uniting into a whole that is far greater than the sum of its parts. The depth and breadth of experience and perspective has coalesced into a formidable synergy of talent, knowledge, training, determination, creativity, feel, and know-how blending analytics and simple common sense. Bill, Rob, and Todd have a knack for highlighting their individual personal and professional strengths in ways that sustain and improve the Finard Properties team, portfolio, and projects.

The people of Finard Properties understand that success in real estate arises from a well-considered blend of art and science. Real estate is more than a balance sheet or income statement, but it is not a look-and-feel industry, either. Managing properties, developing a parcel of land, redeveloping a formerly-struggling industrial site, and attracting partners for equity and debt involves careful consideration to the impact of line items on a budget along with the lasting impact of strong relationships between landlords, tenants and vendors, between developers and neighbors, community leaders, and tradespeople, and between project owners and equity partners and debt sources.
The people at Finard Properties are deeply involved in their communities. Beyond improving and beautifying the areas of our properties, we participate in our communities by providing scholarships and donations and directing and fundraising for charitable organizations. If you have any interest in finding out more about any of the above, please contact us.
